Crafted in a compact, round basket shape for an effortless attitude, this small Woody basket is handwoven by independent craftswomen in Kenya. The line's signature Chloé logo is embroidered on lurex webbing for an elegant touch. The basket has a drawstring closure and a long leather strap for shoulder and cross-body wear.
This basket was made in partnership with Mifuko, a certified WFTO supplier. In Swahili, “mifuko” means pocket. With fair pay and less dependence on unpredictable farming as a source of income, Mifuko empowers its artisans in Kenya and ensures no one is left with empty pockets.

This basket bag has been carefully threaded with natural fibres by master artisans. Each piece has been carefully selected for its natural beauty. Any irregularities and colour variations are inherent to this kind of natural fibre and a result of artisanal finishing. Protection from direct light, heat and rain is advised. Should the item become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Due to its slightly abrasive surface, we advise you to avoid contact with delicate materials. Avoid intense rubbing with abrasive materials. Fill the bag with tissue paper to help maintain its shape and store in the provided dust bag. Leather parts can be cleaned using a soft and dry cloth.
