Chloé just achieved B Corp Certification

B Corp is one of the most demanding certifications that evaluates brands’ social and environmental impact.

Throughout the world, the B Corp ™ movement promotes strong values of change to distinguish companies that reconcile profit and collective interest. Its holistic and demanding vision is based on 5 areas of impact: Governance, Employees, Community, Environment and Customers. B Corp's objective is to certify companies that integrate social, societal and environmental objectives into their business model and operations.

The luxury house of Chloé is proud to join this community of companies committed to improve environmental and societal issues. By earning the B Corp certification, we are reinforcing our commitment to taking full responsibility for our impact on all humans and the living things of which they are a part. Rather than a goal in itself, B Corp marks a new stage in our transformation towards a model based on social and environmental responsibility. B Corp provides us with a framework to accelerate and guide the transformation to which we are committed, and we sincerely hope to inspire other organisations in our industry to join the movement.

The success of this approach is the result of a collective effort by all our employees around the world over more than 18 months, in line with our mission: Women Forward. For a fairer future.

Through changes in our practices, we want to transform our House in depth and evolve the company's mindset in order to improve our environmental and social responsibility, with complete transparency. As progress is a continuous process, we will regularly update the section of Chloé.com dedicated to our commitment.

“Certified B Corporation” is a trademark licensed by B Lab, a private non-profit organization, to companies like ours that have successfully completed the B Impact Assessment (“BIA”) and therefore meet the requirements set by B Lab for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) No 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012. The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
