Manos del Uruguay is a nonprofit that has been supporting the work of hundreds of artisan dyers, knitters and weavers since 1968. Honoring the legacy of Uruguayan craft, Manos creates products of the highest quality that respect our environment. Manos believes that providing Uruguay's rural women with employment is much more than providing them with an income: it also empowers their personal development and helps them to gain independence while staying true to their roots and traditions, and being close to their community and families.
